Hi – I’m Merryn Snare.
As a psychologist I have had hundreds of conversations with people over the last 15 years, primarily about their stress and anxiety, and the things that get in the way of leading the life of their dreams. What is really fascinating is that many of these conversations have been with people who are over 50 – mainly women.
These women are often dealing with significant adjustments: family dynamics have changed as their children lead independent lives, and they are often not fulfilled in their job, or feel frustrated when their role is constantly changing. Whilst life is okay, there is something lacking - and they don’t know how to fix it.
The reality is that these people often have more time on their hands than they are used to. This can be a good thing, but for many it highlights the frustration of feeling less important, not needed or unfulfilled!
This is what has led them to my door in the first place!
The good news is these people are in the box seat to create a new and exciting life journey – and so can YOU!
